TEAS VI Calculator

Nursing Students TEAS

Published

I understand that you may use a 4 function calculator that will be provided for you on the TEAS VI. Does anyone, that has taken the TEAS VI, have what this looks like? I just want to make certain I am using the correct one while studying.

Thank you in advance!

You don't bring one, it is on the test page when you take the test.

edit- didn't realize you said studying. Just a typical non-scientific calculator will do the trick.

It has the multiplication sign the division sign, the addition sign, the subtraction sign, and it even has the %, those are the only things that you're really going to need to know how to convert. I took the test, I failed it. I reschedule the test for the end of August but I also went out and bought a brand new book, the actual ATI study manual and I signed up 4 the June classes that's going to basically walk me through each section of the test what I need to know and how to do it. I really didn't want to sign up for it because it was over $100 and with three kids you know that money is very useful but I feel like if I get into nursing school that's going to be the best thing for my children so I will spend as much money as I can to get the help besides, I haven't been in high school since the nineties so I do need a lot of help ...good luck!

You can practice with a cheap $5 calculator from Staples/Walmart. I'm not sure about the program you're going into, but for my program the calculator would come in handy. We were able to use them for tests as long as they weren't scientific.

It is just like the basic calculator that you can pull up on your computer desktop.

It's the basic calculator in the Windows operating system
