Hello everyone, The TEAS sticky is great for general TEAS questions, but I wanted to start a more specific TEAS thread for TEAS V. For anyone who has taken both 4.0 and V, was there a big difference? If so what are the... Read More

Cookie 422, I have the same problem. I've been obsessed with the forums for weeks now. So much wasted study time. Like right now everyone in the house is sleeping and I'm online instead of studying. I'm starting myself on a schedule tomorrow. Today was the last day that applications were excepted for Spring. I should be getting the available test dates for the TEAS in the next two weeks. I have learned a lot from reading here but its time to study!

does anyone know whether teas v will be the only one used everywhere? in other words, will all schools that accept the teas only accept version v going forward? i am applying to 3 schools that all accept the teas and only one has overtly stated they will only accept teas v. according to this schools website:

"ati has notified the school of nursing that teas version 4.0, which is what we previously used, would no longer be available after this fall and that version of the exam is not comparable to version v as there are fewer questions on version v and the content has been refocused."

i am going to email the other 2 schools anyway to see what they say (will post update later if i get one), but thought someone here would know. of course, i would like to take just one teas exam without worrying about different versions for different schools.

I purchased the ATI TEAS V manual and later decided to do the online practice tests as well. I highly recommend purchasing the ATI TEAS V complete study guide which includes the manual and the online tests for two reasons: it is much more cost effective and the online tests are much more difficult and cover more in-depth material. If you are like me and have been out of school more than twenty years (yikes...am I really that old!) than it is worth the money. I take my test Saturday so I'll keep you posted.

Where can I buy the manual and on-line tests study guide? What does "ATI" stand for? I am really new to this as you can see!

I am gearing up to take TEAS V, and just yesterday I decided to take one of the practice assessments to get a taste of how the test is going to be and just what I needed to spend some extra time studying.....
I got a 76.7% overall. so now I'm really curious to know what kind of score that is. I found the science section to be harder than I had anticipated (( I really thought I was okay in that dept--NOT)) A lot more chemistry than I would've liked..... and I struggled w the algebra section!~no surprise there.

    if you've taken it...please share your TEAS V scores~~thanks!!

I ordered the TEAS V manual on Amazon and paid $22.77, something like that. The ATI website is selling it for $42 ... seriously, a little Googling goes a long way ...

ATI stands for Awful Testing Incident ....

LMAO ... could not resist .... actually, it's Assessment Technologies Institute, the company that administers the test.
