Hello everyone! Well, at this very moment I would have been taking the TEAS, but I cancelled my appointment.

I went to an RN info session at another cc on Wednesday and decided then not to take this test so lightly. It seems that the 4 schools I'm looking at ONLY take your first TEAS scores. Which left me reconsidering my decision to test without studying.

I turned in my application to one school and was given less than 3 weeks to study/review. I thought I'd be ok because I read so many successful posts on here. I just received the study manual a week ago, and I took the pre-test and scored a 62%. That was without reviewing of course. That score would barely make the cut at 2 schools, but not the other 2 that require a 70%.

Oh well, this only postpones my applications till next Spring. But I do have a bit of running around to do collecting all of my transcripts, and other required paperwork to turn in by the deadlines in the Summer. I can refocus on my last class I'm taking this semester that I need to graduate. I work full time as an LVN in homecare as well. Plus this gives me at least 6 months to thoroughly go over each section of the test and improve my scores.

So what do you think? I hope I made the right decision.
