- Feb 11 by MontrulaThe Book is called is "STUDY MANUAL FOR THE TEST OF ACADEMIC SKILLS" (TEAS). Be sure to get the version V! You can also go to the atitesting website and either purchase the study guide, or to see what the book looks like to make sure you are getting the correct book! I'm not sure how well you are in Science, but in my opinion the TEAS study guide doesn't give a good understanding on the science portion in some areas. I've been having a hard time with it, because after going over and over the section in the book, I would still do not so good on the practice tests. I read a few forums and googled a few things and saw where a lot of people recommended McGraw Hill's Nursing School Entrance Exams book. So I got luck to find a 2012 version from the Library and in my opinion, I think the science section is easier to understand. I've been going back and forth between those two books and another book I have, because they all explain things slightly different. I just want to make sure I'm confident with the Science portion because I've heard that it's hard. So I'd recommend at least using the two books. I take my test February 13! Been studying for about 3 and a half weeks!
