Hi everyone, Since ATI provides no student assistance to interpret scores, let's help each other! If enough of us enter our complete TEAS scores, we'll be able to compare notes to see how we rank in different programs, what to... Read More

Here are my TEAS V results:

    Program Type: BSN
    Adjusted Individual Total Score: 88.7%
    ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Advanced
    Mean - National: 63.3%
    Mean - Program: 70.6%
    Percentile Rank - National: 98
    Percentile Rank - Program: 96
    TEAS Reading: 90.5%
    TEAS Mathematics: 90.0%
    TEAS Science: 93.8%
TEAS English and Language Usage: 80.0%

Sure hope these scores were good enough to get in (waiting for acceptance/denial). Applicants had to have taken the TEAS V before submitting the application.

I scored 85 in Reading and 73 in Math. Cutoffs for my school were 75 in Reading and 62 in Math. I attribute my scores being a little lower to the fact that I have not been in college for almost 20 years and I only cram studied for 2 weeks before taking the exam. For example, I had to relearn all over again how to do FOIL method in Algebra. LOL!

Just took my TEAS V yesterday:

    Program Type: ADN
    Adjusted Individual Total Score: 92.0%
    ATI Academic Preparedness Level: Exemplary
    Mean - National: 64.3%
    Mean - Program: 64.9%
    Percentile Rank - National - 99
    Percentile Rank - Program - 99
    Reading Adjusted Individual Score 92.9%
    Mathematics A.I.S. 93.3%
    Science A.I.S. 89.6%
English and Language Usage A.I.S. 93.3%

I was sort of disappointed with my score, but I should be able to get into the program I applied to. I have a 4.0 so far for all my pre-reqs, and the TEAS cutoff for the nursing program is only 70%. Won't know until after June 1st, though.
I used the ATI study guide and the McGraw-Hill book with the 5 practice TEAS exams. The average of my 5 practice exams was almost exactly the same as my actual test score, so I think that it is a pretty accurate reflection of the actual test, although I was prepared for more physics questions but there weren't any on the actual test that I took.

I just took the TEAS V yesterday. My school requires 70% to apply. I have been out of school for 12 years. Oddly enough I studied science the most! I have taken Micro, A&P 1 and 2 as well as Chemistry! I had extra time left on the science portion and second guessed myself on alot of answers. I think I lowered my score

Mathematics 56.7% (This section I didn't even finish, a few questions held me up :-/ )
Science 54.2% (They told me ahead of time they don't even look at this portion so I didn't study it too much.)
    English and Language Usage 63.3%

My school said they look for a 40 or 45 in each section, so I did above what they expected. They said I did really well, but this was terrible to me. It was also my first time taking this test. Not sure if I would like to retake it or not.
