Nursing Students TEAS

Published

I am always want to be a Nurse and I finished all my prerequisite classes for nursing, but stock at the TEAS test. Today is my five times to take the test and I failed again. I am been crying while walking to my car and sit there crying for awhile. Now, I feel like I am out of tear. Any suggestions what what should I do to help me. I bought the TEAS V guide book to study, and I even paid to take the TEAS class, too,í ½í¸

Just out of curiosity, is English your second language?

Sorry to hear that. But I shouldn't be giving any advice on this but it may help. I can't seem to get above 65% on my teas v test. I now have my test weeks out and going to study for it. I am also taking my pre reqs classes and it leaves me little room to study for the test since I don't want to do bad in it. I would just focus on the weaker subjects and work on those for a least an hour at a time between breaks during the day. I am studying harder and smarter this time and taking each problem in the teas study manual and working the math portions one by one until I get comfortable doing it without having to look them up.

What was your overall score? My first attempt I got at 49.3%. I have to retake the test over. So right now I've made a list of sites that are helping me with math.

I'm currently taking A&P2 along with two other pre-reqs (11 units). I'm literally dying trying to find room to study for the TEAS. I take mine May 25th. Luckily I had all my exams before spring break, so I had the chance to study the study guide front and back. It didn't go so well for me. I took the online practice test (FORM A) and I scored a 58%. My heart was racing because I was so upset at myself. Because the online test tells you what you got wrong, I was dissapointed in myself because I knew the answers, but clicked on the wrong one because I was thinking more about the timing. I can guarantee for you that it's just stupid mistakes that shouldn't have happened. You probably know the material, but worry about other things. Just focus on one question at a time, and you'll do fine!

Dont be so nervous, just think that you can always try again. My advice is: study the manual. That manual is what did it for me. They have everything there, even the questions on the teas itself might be there. Just calm down, focus on studying, and study the teas manual from ATI. Good luck!

Hi,

Buy the online practice test, do many times and go over the questions again and again. (ask yourself why A is correct, not B, C, D, why they are wrong)

I am about taking the test, I am so nervous too.

Don't give up your dream of being a nurse
