Waitlist

I'm trying to gather some data for piece of mind on people who have been waitlisted for a CRNA program. If you or someone you know was waitlisted then admitted - how many months before the start of the program did you find out? Did you have any contact with the school while you were waiting to hear? Did you do something to try to stand out on the waitlist?

And if you (or someone you know) was rejected after being waitlisted could you answer those questions as well (how long did it take to get the rejection, did you attempt to contact the school, etc.)

thanks

I think it depends truly on the program. I know several people wait listed who have found out they were in.. Some right away, others two months away from the start of the program. I'm sure some schools have more definitive answers in regards to their individual wait lists.. Best of luck!

While I personally was not waitlisted, I know there are at least 5 in my class of 30 who were initially waitlisted. They were placed on the waitlist in October, at the same time that definite positions were offered, and the latest I heard of someone being offered a spot off of the waitlist was in June (class started in August). As far as I know, none of them were in contact with the school during their time on the waitlist.

Hope that helps!

appreciate the feedback, thanks :)
