I have started the interview process and most schools have repeated the mantra that one will spend up to 80 hours per week between clinical and class per week for the duration of the program.

REALISTICALLY HOW MANY HOURS PER WEEK --- BY TERM.

I just completed my first semester. My program is a front-load design where you have mostly classwork the first part of the program. I would say on average that I contributed at least 10-12 hrs per day to school and at times more on the weekends. I would say yes a good 80 hours/week. I know some that can get away with much less studying (not sure how). It all depends what type of learner you are. If you are the type that reads something once and you know it then you probably could get away with much less. If you are like me and need repetition to get some things in your brain, it is going to take more effort.
