Nursing Students SRNA

Hi all,

I'm back at it again with another question. Although in my last post I asked about the differences between DNP and DNAP programs, I wanted to ask about a certain program in particular. I'm currently getting my list of schools together and I came across Midwestern University in Phoenix, AZ. My family has a house near the campus and it would be the most convenient location wise (location is definitely not a deal breaker for me, I'll travel anywhere) but it's currently an MSN program that will be transitioning to a DNAP program in the near future, most likely by the time I'm thinking I'll be ready to enter the program. This is the only MSN/future DNAP program I'm currently looking into and I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts about the program or school in general?

If someone got their CRNA through their masters program or looked deeper into the school, I'd like to know if they felt the program gave them quality clinical experience? If the program structure was cohesive? And overall just their general opinion about the program? Any input it greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

It is a very quality program. It offers wonderful, full practice clinical sites. A lot of CRNA only sites. Much independence. I would choose it over most other schools. The clinical training is truly outstanding.

Specializes in CCRN.

Have any tips for the interview process? Mine is scheduled on July 19th, and I'm SUPER nervous! Thanks! :)

How did the interview go? Any advice? I have applied and patiently waiting to hear about an interview. Thanks!

How would you compare this program to that of KPSA?
