Has anyone interviewed for Loma Linda CRNA program starting Fall 2012?

I did! Just interviewed on Thursday and have not heard back yet. When did you interview?

Stunt362 : I interviewed on Thursday also. Were you in the morning group or afternoon group? Michelle told us at the very end of the day that it may be 2-3 weeks before we hear back. Is that what you heard as well?

I was there in the morning - 2nd interview of the day! I was also told 2-3wks, but that they were being generous with that (meaning they thought it'd be sooner). Some of the students from the current class said that they found out within a matter of days, but there were less of them. Already anxiously awaiting a phone call; the next couple weeks are going to be tough!!

I'm anxiously awaiting also! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to Loma Linda! Their program seems amazing! It was great talking to the current students and getting an idea of what it would be like to be at the Loma Linda's program! On Thursday I talked to a few interviewees that said that they were called last week to interview.

Wow, really? I was invited to interview back in mid-February. What about you? The program and campus is definitely impressive, and would be so great! All of the current students seem very happy with the program so far. Have you interviewed anywhere else? There were a few students there that have been accepted into other programs also.

The students I talked to gave me a really good impression of the program. The spoke about how noone is left behind. That everyone helps everyone. I would love to be part of a program like that! Students being supportive rather than just competitive! So some of the students who interviewed already have offers of admission at other programs? I was invited to interview in the first few days of March so I was a little suprised people were interviewing last minutes especially with the HSRT that had to be taken.

Yes, there were at least 2 with offers for programs already - Pittsburgh and Texas Wesleyan, I think. Maybe there were others lined up for interviews that backed out for other programs. How do you feel like your interview went? I felt good about it but it is also hard to say based on how everyone else did. I was initially told that they were interviewing 22 people for 8 remaining spots.

I'm shocked that anyone would talk about applying elsewhere or acceptance at an interview/tour day. I did meet someone who was accepted to Texas Wesleyan on the day I tested and he was super nice!:) Did they tell you they were interviewing 22 for 8 spots when you initially got your interview notification? They told me it was a 50/50 chance last week so i'm hoping that is true. Are you local?

Shea told me 22 for 8 spots when I scheduled my HSRT/essay appt. This was probably the end of February, so that very well could be different now since some people had recent invitations. 50/50 is better odds!! I am local - San Bernardino County. The campus is about a 45min drive. How about you? Everyone I met, both current and prospective students, were very nice. Hopefully the decisions will be fairly easy, and they will know this week :) (wishful thinking, haha)

Ya sounds like our odds are better (hopefully):) I live about 45-1hr away from campus. Would you move closer? The students I spoke with live very close to campus. Have you applied anywhere else or just Loma Linda?

I was one of the closest from the group I met. I met 3 from LA area, 2 from Atlanta, and 1 other local. I will stay where I am, because the commute is not bad. I am married, so it would be easier for myself and my husband to stay put. What about you? I did apply to Kaiser but was not invited for an interview. I also applied and interviewed with National University in Fresno (a new program). I was placed on the wait list with #1 position but have yet to receive an offer. Their program starts April 9, so it's looking like a no. However, Loma Linda is definitely my top choice due to location and reputation of the school/program. Have you interviewed anywhere else? How do you feel about your Loma Linda interview?
