FSU-PCB Nurse Anesthesia interview 2016

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hi,

I recently applied to the nurse anesthesia program at FSU. I was invited for an interview in January. I would like any tips or guidance on what to expect during the interview. I head clinical style questions, medications, and get-to know you type of questions.

All responses will be appreciated.

Hi, I guess we are in the same boat. I received an email last week with dates, and times for the interview. So I called them today and schedule my interview for January, 10. But I still have to do my GRE. I haven't done it yet. I have a good friend of mine who went to FIU anesthesia school and she has interview questions. She'll give to me and I can forward it to you. I was wondering how much they will ask since the interview is only for 15-30min (as it said on the email). They need to get to know you first them ask clinical questions so I think with that little amount of time will be hard. When is your interview? I work down south in Miami and you? If you like we can exchange emails so we can keep in touch.

My interview is Jan 9th. I currently live and work in Atlanta. Feel free to email me at [email protected]

Hi! I interview on the 8th. I live and work in Panama City. I have talked to current SRNAs and they say to know the meds on the list that you filled out. I have spoken with others who interviewed who say they were not asked any clinical questions. I will let you guys k ow how mine goes.

Thanks for your input. Hope your interview goes well. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback

How did the interview go for everyone?

I feel like mine went well. Only time will tell right? Very different style than my University of Pittsburgh interview. The only clinical questions I got there were from a student. FSU was on it for sure. If a med was mentioned they jumped on it, down to the alpha and beta level! Good thing I studied up =)

I had my interview Jan 9th ...has anyone heard anything back?

I doubt we will hear anything before the end of the week. (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said all the scores had to be put together and the selections sent to the Dean.

Did (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) tell anyone else they did a good job in the interview when she walked you out? I'm sure she tells everyone that but just trying to gage how I did.

I interviewed on the 9th. I thought it was a well organized process. Hopefully we get some good news soon.
