Vanderbilt CNM/FNP 2014

Hello fellow nurses!

Soooo.. I am preparing to apply to 's dual CNM/FNP program for Fall 2014 and wanted to start a thread rather than [COLOR=#1c7dff]searching for info on here. I've been studying for the GRE cause I haven't taken it yet - planning to take it at the end of October. I'm heading to Nashville next month to check out the city cause I've never been! I'm a little freaked out, but overall excited because I know this is what I want and I think Vanderbilt offers a great option with this joint program.

Anyone currently in the program with some sage advice or details about the curriculum?

Anyone else looking to apply? Thoughts, fears, future career plans? Compulsive comparisons of GPA, GRE scores and work experience? :)

Does anyone know if they'll admit you to general AGACNP if they don't accept you to the specific track you applied to? Also, admission decisions begin going out in mid February I believe, through March.

As far as I know, they only admit or decline you admission to the specific track to which you apply. I am sure there are some exceptions to the rule, but generally you are only considered for your specific interest.

Has anyone heard anything about an interview to the CNM/FNP track?
