UAB Fall 2013 NP Programs

I have applied to UAB's ACNP program for Fall 2013. Just wanted to start a "roll call", if you will, for all those applying to any of UAB's NP programs for fall 2013 so that we can kind of keep each other posted on the progress of accepectances and etc. Good luck to everyone who has applied! I look forward to hearing from each of you!!

Does anyone know where the transcripts are usually listed in the Apply Yourself screen? Is it listed on the Dashboard?

My transcripts are listed on my dashboard. Right below the "application fee" section. It says "Transcripts" and has each of my schools listed and whether or not it has been received as well as whether it's an official transcript or not.

Does anyone else see that? When I go on my Dashboard I see where application is complete and the date that it was submitted... It does not have a section for application fee... It just gives me the option to print receipt. When you click on that it will just give you a receipt on date application was submitted.

I received confirmations from my prior school that the transcript was delivered to them. I'm confused as to why I am not seeing that listed... It does not even have a list of the schools on my dashboard screen. :/

Mine shows the school and date received. You could always call or email if you're concerned. I'm sure it's probably fine. May be a browser issue.

I'm with Rizz, it's probably just a browser glitch. Just give the school a call or shoot them an email. They've been fairly quick to respond to all of my emails thus far.

Hello earthsalt...I applied for the Women's Health/Adult NP program at UAB...I anxiously waiting for acceptance!!!!

So excited! I contacted UAB Student Affairs office and they were able to list all the transcripts on my application... They said that they havent had an opportunity to upload lists for everyone but they do have everything; just incase anyone else has come across this problem... Keeping fingers crossed!

I received an email Friday night that stated the following

"International students, as well as students in clinical programs and certain graduate programs, are required to have major medical insurance. If you have received this email, you are in a mandatory program. If you do not think you are in this category, please contact your academic program directly.

Beginning this spring, all mandatory students will have an "insurance hold" placed on their accounts forFall 2013. You will need to either sign up for the offered insurance product or complete a waiver if you have comparable major medical insurance.

I am curious as to if I received this email by mistake or it anyone else received it. I am soooooo anxious to finally receive an official letter.

Friamber: have you checked your blazernet account to see if they've actually placed a hold on your account yet?

Okay, so I haven't received any email or anything yet, but I did just look on my BlazerNet account and it shows 3 holds on my account and has an adviser listed now as well. These items weren't there Friday when I checked. I'm hopeful this means that I'm accepted!! The anticipation is really starting to get to me!! lol Has anyone else heard anything yet?
