I won't being my clinical rotations until Summer 2013, is it too early to start lining up preceptors? I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I also don't want to miss any opportunities by waiting too long. What have been your experiences with contacting preceptors?

  5. I agree. Start now. And have a spare in place. I had clinicals fall through that were written in blood, LOL :,). People will change their minds at the last minute sometimes so try to line up a few spots
  6. Not too early at all! I asked my kids' pediatrician during an office visit (she knew I was in school) and my own OB when I was pregnant with my last... good luck!
  7. Never! I have always looked for preceptors two months in advance! Good luck!
