Simmons College Admission Fee

So I'm having a little trouble getting a straight answer on when the $650 admission fee is due for Simmons College. I was told by the admissions rep that it was due two weeks after receiving acceptance letter. When I spoke to the financial aid officer I was told that I had until July to pay the fee, but he wasn't completely positive.

The only reason I'm concerned is I applied to another school who will not release decisions until July at the earliest. The 2nd school's tuition is much cheaper but also a MSN+DNP program. I really like Simmons and would not be upset if I didn't get accepted to the other school, but I don't want to lose out on $650 if I decide to change my mind when the other school releases decisions.

Anyone with any experience with this?

Ask admissions if it's possible to wait on the fee. I just know I hurried up and paid mine because I didn't want there to be the slightest chance I could lose my spot.

My advisor said end of summer for the September start.

Thanks for the answers, contacted my advisors and I got sort of an evasive answer. Went ahead and paid the fee, didn't want to mess anything up.

I believe it's due as soon as possible, no later than 2 wks before the start of your term...however...it is used to "hold" your spot, meaning, if they have 20 spots and 19 people pay today and one pays tomorrow and you are #21 to pay, you will be pushed into the next start term.

How many students did they take for each cohort?

I want to say that March cohort only had 60-70??? I can't remember the exact but I know that NONE of my classes have more than 12-13 people per class and for my one class that only full time student take the first term (health promotion) we have 8 students and there were only 3 classes offered of HP and all had under 8 per class.
