Hey guys I hope somebody can help.... I still have a year and half until graduation in my FNP program. Because this program is mainly self taught and mostly independent learning I'm really scared that by the end that I will not be knowledgeable enough to take boards due to lack of guidance. Not sure if every MSN FNP program is like this- independent and self taught :(. Just wondering did you guys start looking into studying material for boards already while in school or after graduation???? I feel lost and feel like I'm wasting money in an grad program...:( any advice would help...thank you.

I'm not trying to nitpick but you realize there are NO state boards for FNP right? The certification process is done by outside entities: ANCC and AANP.

Best wishes. Whats the passing rate of your school?

That's what I mean "certification." I guess I don't understand why other people and professors are using the term "boards" then.
