How did you pass the ANCC certification exam?

I've heard Margaret Fitzgeralds stuff is the best but seems like ANCC's stuff would focus more on the test content. I just graduated with my MSN FNP and want to get certified on the first try. Any suggestions?

Best of luck! Took my ANCC FNP today and passed. Totally know the feeling of anxiety you are going thru! Take a deep breathe and it will be over before you know it.

I did the fitz CD's for review (that was my bible). She is great for clinical review, but honestly I do not think there any superior reviews that will prepare you for all the other crap that is on that exam. Topics are very broad, so much psycho-social issues, policy, some legal. Its the craziest test I have ever taken! Good luck!

I passed! It actually was a lot easier than I thought and I felt way "over-prepared". I have often wondered why nursing exams have to play games rather than truly testing one's knowledge base. Just my humble musings.
