Drexel Fall 2015 whnp

I have already applied to 's Fall 2015 WHNP program. I would like to know if anyone has started the program within the past year and can comment on the program thus far. I live in Central Florida and do not know anyone who has tried the Drexel WHNP online program or even applied for that matter. Thanks.

Hi everyone. I am finishing up my application for Drexler's Fall 2015 WHNP program. Excited and yet nervous. I've read the thread and would love to stay in touch with all of you. I work as a postpartum and newborn nursery nurse at a local hospital doing 3 12s a week. I also am in the national guard and debating continuing that career. Is working full time (3 12s) going to be too much?? Any information would be great! They said it will take 4-6 weeks to hear back. I did put in my FAFSA already. Any who, hope to talk to all of you soon!!

Good luck to you. I currently work 3 12s in the NICU and am in 's program. I will say the time commitment is doable now (I'll preface that by saying I don't have any kids). I haven't begun clinicals but will drop down to part time if I am unable to do it. Other than that, I can say for me it has been great to be able to have the flexibility of distance learning.

I was accepted to the FNP program for for fall 2015. I am extremely excited to start and was wondering if anyone else here was going to start this fall who lives around me. I live in a suburb of Philly. I think it would be a great idea to get to know people in our group before school starts =)

I'm in the peds track that is nearing the end. We started a facebook group that has people expected to graduate this year and has all the tracks. It's not huge but a decent number. The early classes you all intermingle. It was nice having a place where people could bounce stuff off of each other with paperwork and questions and all sorts of stuff. There are some who took a year off on there and so now not everyone is graduating this year. It was a lifesaver at times to have that chance to talk to everyone.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am still waiting to hear something. I applied to their WHNP for Fall 2015. How did they notify you-letter, email, or discover site?

I know previous years you received an email saying to log in or something to find the decision. My first contact was via email and I just remember running down stairs to get to my computer so I didn't have to attempt logging into anything on my phone.
