Where are school nursing jobs?

I cannot find one school nursing job listing in Seattle or surrounding areas! I am probably not looking in the right place. Where do I find them?

School Nurse jobs are usually posted along with teacher and other district jobs on the district's human resources webpage. Check out the job posting in the districts closest to where you live.

Many school nurse job openings are shared by word of mouth, and it is a good idea to get your foot in the district door by volunteering or letting people know you are watching for an opening.

I found one of my jobs after moving to a new part of the country while attending a state school nursing conference.

Contact the reprsentatives in your state to see if there is a central posting of job openings. Here in Illinois, openings are posted on the state association website. To find your states website, go to the national NASN website and find your state: http://www.nasn.org/community/affiliates.htm
