How do I get started?

I'm new to the school nursing career and am flustered. I had no training or help getting this going. I am the school nurse for a small town school K-12 adn don't know what to do or how to get involved with the kids and teachers besides doing paper checks for immunizations, health records and head check for lice. I need all the help I can get. Thanks. Brownstown

See the NASN web site www.nasn.org and look at the publications and the state organizations. Contact your state representative and find out if any sping workshops are being held. Get connected to your school nurse collegues and their resources.
