That's great! I'm not ready for spring, but you know how that is. :D I don't have classes on Tuesdays so I'm starting Weds. My nursing classes are on Thurs + Fridays. What are you taking this semester?

I'm doing great and I'm really excited about this semester, I'm in the same classes as Lauren which is going to be fun because I'm definitely going to need her help. I also want to know what pre-reqs you are taking.

One thing I will definitely recommend to other nursing students is to study with your classmates and to form friendships early on. You will learn that you will be seeing a lot of your classmates, especially once your in the nursing program and starting clinicals, besides making friends and forming study groups is just good networking. You will learn that students have certain strengths and weaknesses and that everyone seems to do better when the right group of people can work together. A perfect example of this is my personal situation, in my geriatric clinical class I am in class with Lauren and 6 other students (four of whom I know pretty well) and I can tell that were a good group right now because we each have our own strengths and weaknesses and if we can work well together it will help everyone out as individuals. Lauren and I for example, my strengths are that I am clinically experienced because of my work as a CNA in a hospital and my comfort with direct care while Lauren is a good test taker and great at isolating and memorizing important material from our textbooks as well as being an assertive and strong personality (we even joke and tell her that she will be our charge nurse by the second day at the clinical site.) But in all seriousness its about knowing your strengths and then working with people who are strong in the areas you are weak so you can help each other out. Good luck!
