ADN or BSN and NICU

U.S.A. Rhode Island

Hi! I currently live on the Ma/Ri state line and I would like to go back to school for nursing within the next two years.

Thing is I will have to work fulltime through school, meaning my schedule will allow me to go to school only evenings and weekends. Which is fine. I'd like to go for my BSN out of the gate everyone tells me that's the way to go, but I don't think there are any evening/weekend BSN programs in the area. Are there?

My plan is do go ADN and complete BSN on line after. Given the choice which ADN program would choose? I'm considering CCRI, NEIT, and BCC health. Also, and I'm getting ahead of myself here, but do the area hospitals hire ADN NICU new grads? Thanks so much!

I'm a CCRI graduate( class of 2006) and it's a good program, with a good reputation at the various clinical sites. They also have a very good NCLEX pass rate.
