I think that is going to vary widely depending on whom the employer is. I had a friend who was a live-in 24/h day nurse for the mother of a famous athlete. She made over 200K a year, but believe me she earned every penny of it. She was literally that woman's slave 24/7 for three years! She was a RN-BSN with 15 years exp. when she took that job. She got it b/c she cared for the woman in the hospital and the family liked her and hired her away. She traveled with them all over the world, lived in their home. quite a gig, but the patient died and my friend is back at a health dept shot clinic now. However, she drives a porsche and has two beautiful homes!

agencies in northeaqst are paying from 28-45 hr, for adults, and 42hr for peds, that is pts who have medicaid, so i believe private ins. would be more
