graduate student-psychiatric nurse practitioner program

I just got accepted into graduate school. I am going for an MS in Psychiatric Nursing. I start this winter. I would like to know if there are any psychiatric master's students or graduates on this forum who could tell me what the programs are like, any advice etc. I am going to be speaking to my advisor, but does anyone have any advice as to what type of course to begin with. I need graduate statistics, but I was hoping to wait until my second semester and start with a nursing course first. Any advice, experiences etc. would be interesting and helpful to me. I am so excited. I never thought I would be accepted!! I can't wait to start. I checked on the graduate school site and couldn't find anyone going for psych. I am really anxious to share experiences, goals etc. I am thinking of possibly going into detox or rehab nursing. I also want to thank all of the nurses on this thread who have been encouraging me for a long time now or I never would have applied. Thank you fellow nurses and students on allnurses.com!!!!!
