Want to open my own Hospice Campus

I need some advice. I have a dream of opening a Hospice campus, complete with in-patient care center, restaurant/coffee shop, grief counseling center, accommodations for patients with families from out of town...etc. What degrees do I need to be looking at? Currently I am wanting my BSN as well as my masters in healthcare administration with a focus on gerontology. Is there anything else I may be missing?

I think it is noble have a goal like this in mind. It remind's me a MLK's "I have a dream speech" for some reason.

I would imagine that there are many, many routes to accomplishing this first. A bit of advice. Start the BSN path and work your way there. You may find that, as you are within the healthcare context/schooling, some of the information you are seeking will present itself. You'll network and talk with people. You'll find bits of this intricate puzzle reveal itself.

You'll need to find many people that share your dream or at least are willing to take a chance on it.

You'll need to get doctors, lawyers, social workers, counselors, CNAs, RNs, volunteers, marketing people, kitchen staff, housekeeping, etc.

You'll need to intimately familiar with business, marketing, managing, healthcare insurance, healthcare policies, laws, etc.

This is no small feat. But, go for if you'd like!!! You have a dream!
