Thomas Jefferson FACT-1 2018 (Center City)

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi all!

Just wanted to start a forum for TJU FACT-1 or 2 applicants to the Center City location. I submitted my app August 10 and had my interview yesterday. Feel free to contribute and ask questions! Let's help each other out during this stressful process : )

@ohlala01 My interview was on September 20! My admissions decision was a little delayed because they were waiting for one more transcript from the CC I'm doing my prereqs at

okay thanks! I just had my interview last week and im a little nervous.

Hi guys!! I submitted my app and had everything in about a week or two ago. However, I just received an email saying that before they move forward with a decision they need my fall grades. Is this normal?? Will this hurt my chances of getting a seat/interview? :/

Do you have most of the prereqs completed? They may feel like you don't have enough credits needed for them to make a concrete decision. Don't worry about it just email them to see what you can do to move forward so that you can interview soon. They do a very good job with communicating with the students.

Perhaps not enough pre-reqs is correct. I am missing three if you count the one I am currently taking. However, I will be taking another in the winter session so I will have all but one done by January... I did email and although I blatantly asked if I would be able to interview still before my fall grades arrived, they only said to me not to worry about spots filling up prior to my grades coming in. That's very reassuring in itself!

See! You'll be fine!

I've been accepted! Can't wait to meet you all!

Congratulations! I'll be interviewing with Jefferson next week! I'm so excited. Glad to see they have a fast decision process.

For folks who have interviewed and/or been accepted, what has been your timeline between submitting the application, being contacted for an interview, and receiving an admissions decision?

I have low stats, do you think my chances will still be good if my application is complete by the end of November? Seems like alot of people have applied and got in already.

Submitting by the November 15th "priority" deadline guarantees a full review of your application according to their website. I'd imagine folks with lower stats (I partially fall into this category too) would benefit greatly from a full holistic application review, which is why it was important to me to submit before the Nov. 15th deadline. Submitting shortly after that (before the end of November, for example) would probably mean your app would be reviewed in full since it's still well before the general deadline, but it wouldn't be guaranteed. The earlier you submit the better!

Oh I just noticed that now. Lol thank you for that! I'll definetley be turning it in before priority then. Best of luck to you :) are you applying anywhere else?

Hi everyone! I completed my application on October 15th, and Jefferson just emailed me letting me know they got my transcripts October 25th. I am so nervous about being accepted or not for some reason! How long did it take to hear back about an interview?
