Take micro with anatomy, or with physiology?

I'm seeking advice as I plan my schedule of prerequisite courses for the coming academic year. I am taking 2 at a time since I have young kids at home. I'm currently taking Chem and Nutrition and it's been very doable.

I am wondering whether it would be better to take microbiology with anatomy, or with physiology (at my school anatomy & physio are separate classes). Anatomy is only 4 credits and physio is 5, but I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion on which would be more intense. The other class I'll need to take is stats, but it doesn't have a lab component so I think it'll be less time-consuming than micro.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

I am currently taking A&P I with microbiology. I don't feel like its hard. I have a REALLY hard teacher for micro so I have a low B, I'm usually a 4.0 student but since I've been in her (hard teacher) biology class last semester And micro this semester I have a 3.87. I'm getting an A in anatomy. It all depends on the teacher to me. With that said, I dedicate a lot of time to school. I don't have kids and I only work midnights 2 days a week. Best of luck to you!

My A&P series had both subjects combined. It made for a better understanding of how everything works... however, if I had been required to take A&P as separate subjects and I wanted to take Micro at the same time, I would have wanted to take Anatomy and Micro at the same time. Why? It would be too difficult to learn two separate physiology processes and keep them separate on the exams.

My college has A&P together in two separate parts, however the university I attended had them separated as well. I would probably do micro with anatomy.

For me, I took micro with APII and it was not hard at all.

AP + lab are one course at my school...I can't imagine taking micro with AP :o hey but more power to you!

I took anatomy and physiology as separate classes. I took anatomy first and then physiology. I would recommend taking anatomy with micro. Anatomy was all memorization, while physiology required a grasp on concepts as well as memorization. I found anatomy easier. Best of luck!

Looking back I wish I could have taken anatomy along with physiology. They go hand in hand.
