Overwhelmed..

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

So I'm in the process of taking AP1, and Micro. I was doing really really well, until the last exam. Now, there's five weeks left, and I'm beginning to realize something. I don't think I'm capable of being able to get A's. I study ridiculous amounts, far more than what my peers do(at least with how much they say they study), yet I'm not doing well. Since my other grades weren't so great, all I can get in AP 1, 2, and Micro are at lowest A-'s.

I'm overwhelmed, tired, and losing faith. I don't think I'm cut out to do this. What seems to happen is I'll have everything down, and once the exam comes around(or practical, or quiz) it all just goes blank, and I can't remember any of it.. For many, it seems like they come by A's so easily, and yet, I just can't seem to figure it out..

Advice? Suggestions?

A-'s are just fine! Relax and know that NOONE is perfect! I got a B in both AP 1/2 and an A- in micro. As long as you are trying you will be fine. Just keep trying and keep your GPA as high as you can. Ask for extra credit from your professors, go to every class, then look over everything again after classes, sticks in your brain better. Those are tough classes but keep at it and don't give up :) 5 weeks is a lot of time for improvement!!!

No lie i am feeling and having the exact same thoughts as you. Im feeling so so down I thought I got aced my micro test but ended up with an 85. Im really having doubts im not good enough, and not capable. Im trying so hard. This is my last prereq and got ab A in chem and Bs in anatomy and physio. I dont eveb know what to do at this point *tears*.

I would be happy to even have a low A. I feel like such an idiot. But I will wait till my daughter goes to sleep ans study. I refuse to give up. Just keep pushing yourself. Im gonna go to the tutor lab tues and see if someone can help me... maybe try a tutor as well? I wish you the best of luck. I understand how you feel.

Good day: Once the exam is over do you requiz yourself on the material to see if the blank was just during the test time? I.e. do you go unblank afterwords? Thank you.[/quote']

She allows us to look at our exams and compare. When I do, it usually comes back to me and I get the 'ugh! Why did I put that answer'

So yeah, it's during the test time I go blank.
