Nursing School Tough To Get Into...

I didn't make it to the Nursing Program the 1st time I sent my application My prerequisite validation cut score didn't make it to the 75th percentile. They want candidates like me to do a remedial program so that I can be eligible the next time I apply. I'm just wondering, if I successfully complete the remedial program, how much longer will it take me to be conditionally enrolled? And is it worth putting the effort? I mean, I've come so far, and I don't want my journey to stop because of one denial letter. Sometimes I wonder what other options are there for me who's interested in the medical field. I've considered doing LVN if I don't get into RN. I hope I can make it. I enjoy helping people, especially the elderly. I have no background in the medical fields, but I will be taking a CNA class, part of remedial program, if offered in the summer, to give me the experience of what it feels like working in the medical fields.

Anyone else have the same situation as I did? How did it make you feel when you didn't get in the first time?

I felt discouraged, but for some reason, I feel motivated to give it my all and finish it till the end. I hope all of this will pay off in the long run.

You will need to ask the program you applied to .... It seems like it might be a safe bet but definitely ask.

I am also in the same boat, completely frustrated with the whole pre-nursing process. I took two different nursing exams at two different schools and always miss the minimum requirement mark by a few points
