Nervous wreck about my interview

I never would have thought I'd get an interview at the first school I applied to due to my GPA/prereq GPA but I did and now I'm a nervous wreck. I have a 3.0 overall and 3.3 prereq, scored 86% Adjusted on TEAS, 96% national. It is for an Accelerated program since I have my B.S. in Health Science. Does anyone else have similar numbers and insight on how the interview will go, what you were asked and your responses if you'd like to share, if you were accepted or not after interview with similar numbers, and ANYTHING else you'd like to add about how you prepared for interview. This is at a state school and there are 27 accelerated seats and 45 basic that will be up for grabs out of 500 applicants, not sure how many left for interviews.

They wouldn't ask you for an interview if they didn't think you were a viable candidate.

So don't worry about having a lower GPA or anything else that you see as a detriment, focus on the things about you that will make you successful in the program and that will make you an excellent nurse. Be honest and friendly and answer their questions to the best of your ability. Even if you don't feel confident, fake it.

I'm sure you'll do a great job. Don't worry about the number of applicants. Just do your best and trust that if you are meant to be in the program it will work out.

No advice, but good luck! We have similar GPAs so thanks for the glimmer of hope!

CDEWannaBe,

Thanks very much for your words of encouragement. That's what I kept telling myself also. "You got an interview for a reason" and "If I meant to be at this school I will be." It was a group interview and I felt like I didn't get much time to get my points across so it didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked but we live and we learn. Thanks again for the kind words. Ratlady, stick to it! I applied on a whim never thinking I'd have a shot at their interview and almost passed out when I got notification that I was invited. Numbers aren't EVERYTHING and some schools realize that. There IS hope, I promise!
