I have to take College Algebra in the fall and Statistics next spring. Are these two classes hard? I want advice from people who have been through it and have the same major as I do.
The instructor makes all the difference in math courses. I don't particularly like math (necessary evil IMO), however, when I had a great math professor, it really helped me "get" algebra. I only got a B in it, but it was a hard earned B. Trigonometry was a breeze after algebra (got an A...yay!). I had the most awesome professor for Stats. He made it so much fun and was a really great lecturer. The classes were never boring & I thoroughly enjoyed it, which is saying a lot, considering it's usually a dull subject. So, really research the professors and pick one that is going to fit your learning style. Someone already suggested RateMyProfessor...definitely look into it!
