HEY!

Is there any Tucson applicants for Spring semester? I already took my HESI applied for the fall and was placed on the waiting list. So here I am once again giving it another shot. Hopefully, this time around I make it...

Congrats 83% is awesome!! Some people I know got in with low 70's so I’m sure you’ll be fine. Not sure about the background check I’m assuming its pretty fast because I think it’s done on line. Well wish me luck Ill post my results once I take the exam!!

Good luck everyone!!

Hi Mari_315,

Congrats 83% is awesome!! Some people I know got in with lowe 70's so I’m sure you’ll be fine. Not sure about the background check I’m assuming its pretty fast because it’s done on line. Well wish me luck Ill post my results once I take the exam!!

The HESI exam was so and so. I got an overall 83%. I was bummed out because I obviously wanted a higher score. My worst subject was A&P. Some advise would be study fractions, ratios, and conversions for the math section. Grammar was my 2nd worst subject I scored a 78%. I would study that section if it's not your best subject.

Hopefully my associates as a medical assistant helps me with acceptance. I'm so nervous and anxious to just find out! The next step that I need to complete is the background check. Do you or anyone know how long the process takes for the background check?

Good luck everyone!

For me it took about 2 weeks I want to say and the same for fingerprinting... You did really good in your HESI!! I honestly think is more about your GPA, do you guys have an interview process in Phoenix???

Nope, no interview process. . . thank goodness. What about you guys?

I just finished my HESI. Oh Boy!! My brains are on fire. Ok I had 92% overall (Math 100%, A&P 96%, Chem 92, Grammer 82%, Reading 88% and Vocabs 80%) English is not my strong suit, no wonder its my second language...lol

Hey everyone, I'm hoping to apply for the summer of 2015. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the leniancy of the prereqs? For example, has anyone taken a course that wasn't exactly the same as the prereqs and have it count instead? I have coures very similar to some of the prereqs, but not exact. I'm waiting on my evaluation, but with the fall semester starting soon. I just want some idea. Thanks!

Good Job!!! Baffy. . . I still have to take my! Im waiting for them to add more exam dates. What material did you use to study for the HESI?

Hi Mari_315

I used the little Hesi A2 book, Kaplan nursing entrance exam book and Quizlet.com but the Hesi book was better because the questions on the test were similar to the ones in the book. Good luck!!! They just send emails for background checks.

Thanks!! Im waiting for them to post the new dates. I need to take it before I forget all I gave reviewed. lol BTW... for the Chemistry did they give you a periodic table? I sure hope so or else I may not pass chem!!

They don't give you one, but you won't need a periodic table.

The chemistry section was not terrible, I can't remember much about it. I took it in May, but I do remember that it was nothing to stress over :)

Thank you IheartPinkiePie... I’m freaking out because they haven’t added any more test dates.:( I hope I don’t have to wait until next semester to apply!! What campus are you applying for? How did you do on your HESI?

They don't give you one, but you won't need a periodic table.

You will not need one...it is basic stuff. No stress you gotta.
