Community or private school

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello, I have been planning to go back to school for nursing for about a year now and I feel like I have overwhelmed myself with information on the different types of schools. I know the pro's and cons but I feel like some honest opinions would really help me decide.. any advice on becoming a nurse would be appreciated!!!! :shy:

I definitely vote for a local community college over a private school. They are substantially cheaper and usually have higher NCLEX pass rates. That's not to say that you shouldn't go to a private school if its your only option, but work your butt off and try to get into a community college program.
