I hate it. I get the worst anxiety (mostly induced because it's the end of the semester)! I've done well up until my last exam a week ago, a 36/100. I was making A's and B's. I've been studying (6 hours yesterday & 3 today, at least 3 hours since a week ago per day) by practicing all the questions I've gotten wrong. The professor is pulling eight questions out of the four exams for the final. I feel like hyperventilating, despite having my husband at my side whom is an engineering major - he hasn't graduated yet. But, his Calculus 3 professor offered him a job as a supplemental instructor in mathematics at the university we both attend (Kennesaw State University). I want to cry, puke, and hyperventilate :scrying:

Has anyone else dealt with this? Wait until I get to Chemistry, right?!? My husband is a great help, but I'm drawing more blanks than solutions.

Perhaps try meditation. Sometimes over studying can be detrimental.

Also, the science nerd in me laughed at the fact that after you mentioned chemistry you talked about solutions.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Don't ramp yourself up like that... That self talk will just end up making you feel worse. Seek your school's tutoring services, if they have any. If you were doing okay before, maybe it was just the last few concepts tying you up. It's okay to feel like you might not be a master at something - we've all been there. Seek the tutoring real quick if it's available, don't beat yourself up so badly, and good luck.

Thank you so much for the advice! I exited the course with a B ;) I was able to get some tutoring in and I will take up meditation and yoga over the summer and after to help with these moments.

Chemistry math wasn't hard as I thought it would be.
