Coastal Pines LPN student looking for TEAS test info

Hello!!

I'm new to this site and looking for info. I'm going to Coastal Pines in Jesup, GA next semester and hopefully starting the LPN program there. It's looking like my GPA is between a 3.2-3.5 depending on which level of math they're transferring in. The minimum GPA is a 2.75, so I'm praying my GPA is high enough. They only accept 25 students. I'm registered to take my TEAS test at the end of Sept., and ordered a test study guide..should be here Thursday. What types of science is on that test? I'm 25 and started school at 18. I was basically sheltered my entire life, and when I went off to a university, I stopped caring about school and enjoyed the freedom. I dealt with a lot because of not caring..I'm now paying for my mistakes from then. I'm doing everything in my power now to get back up and get it done. Any advice is good advice. Thanks for reading!!

Purchasing one online practice test from ATI would be a good idea.

You're awesome. Thank you so much for that link. I got the guide from a different site because the ATI guide was expensive..probably would have been a better option though. That study guide you sent me looked like the practice tests I've been taking for free. I'll have to look up the purchase price for the practice tests.

The Teas objectives section is the important info I wanted to share. The ATI book is good but is not enough for the science.

They show you the long way to do math. Look up shortcuts for many items.

You can compare the PDF with the book to see where you need to make sure you have the concepts covered.

State the chemical properties of water. You need to apply your knowledge of vapor, gas, liquid, polarity, density, and much more in a question that may not specifically mention water.

It's 7-12 grade concepts where it tests if you can apply the concepts above understanding the concepts itself, aka critical thinking.

Okay thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I'm now taking it in the middle of September. Just wasted so much time getting myself this serious. And I can't allow anything to get in the way. My GPA is high enough, so it's going to come down to this test..so I'm kind of nervous lol.
