Chamberlain or community college then OSU

Just wondering thoughts.

I could do a 2 year associates program at a local community college and then go to OSU for a 1-2 year bachelors.

Or or go to Chamberlain for a 3 year bachelors.

Which would be be the better option as far as reputation and job options after school?

Just want you to be aware that DeVry (Chamberlain parent company) is heading into rough water due to ongoing problems with Federal student aid. Corinthian Colleges (parent company of Everest) folded last week. ITT is close to the brink & Education Management (Brown Mackie) isn't far behind. Here is more information.

Just something to consider. It would be horrible for a program to go belly-up and leave you in the lurch.

Absolutely, positively, do not go to Chamberlain. It is a for profit, private school that is there just to take your money. Pass rates are bad, and hospitals don't normally hire graduates from these type of schools.

Do you live in Columbus? If so, Columbus State would be the better option. You wouldn't even necessarily have to get your associates, just getting your pre-reqs then transferring to OSU would be a good idea because they have a contract with OSU to where you can automatically transfer there to complete your degree after a year or two. Even MCCN wouldn't be a bad idea, depending on what you look for in a college.
