I've taken these courses separately myself, but I think if you don't have anything else on your plate (like working full time) you should be okay. I highly suggest Biology for Dummies if you haven't recently taken an AP bio. Nutrition and Bio / Nutrition and Chem are going to have some overlapping course material so that is an advantage.
Does your school have a tutoring center? I always found that helpful. even if I don't go in with questions, I like to go do homework or study there in case I start to question something. My biggest piece of advice to all people is stay organized with a planner. You are more likely to actually study if you write it into your schedule. also study a little every day, chunking is best.

Hello nursing community!
I am completing my pre-requisites for my BSN program at a four year university. My goal is to be accepted in the Fall of 2014. If I don't complete these courses in the spring, and Anatomy over the summer, I am told I would not be able to apply to the SON until 2015 because intro to nursing is only offered in the fall! My spring schedule looks like this:
-Human Development over the Life Span
-Principles of Biology and lab
-General Descriptive Chemistry I and lab
-Anthropology of contemporary non western cultures
-Introductory Nutrition
I'm just wondering if anyone can relate, or has any helpful information/tips or resources to get through these upcoming semesters!
Thanks for all responses and good luck to everyone with future careers in nursing! :)
