ATI critical thinking exam ..

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello, I am currently in pre-nursing course, and I am about to take the ATI critical thinking exam next semester. I want to be prepared for the exam just in case and I found nothing on the web about the information. Did anyone buy a book for studying ATI critical thinking exam? Can anyone give me advice? Thanks!!

There is no study guide or any specific material that can aid you in preparing for that exam. It is to assess your problem solving and critical thinking abilities. You will have 40 minutes to answer the 40 questions.

Specializes in LTC, Rural, OB.

We had to take this our very first quarter and then we will take it right before we graduate. They told us there is no way to study for it. The reason we take it upon entry and exit is to see how our critical thinking skills have grown since starting nursing school. Critical thinking is not something you can study.

So, will ATI critical thinking be based on general questions or nursing stuff?

It's on completely random stuff, think one of those online job application 'tests'. Don't sweat it.
