Applying to nursing school with lots of withdrawals... please help!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hey guys… Please help me!

I currently have 15 withdrawals. I know it's a lot…. I wasn't interested attending college that point of my life. Later, I realized that I wanted to become a nurse. Thus, after I realized that I want to pursue nursing career, I tried hard and worked hard. I completed all of pre-req with 4.0. I am working as CAN and have volunteer hours. I am planning to apply PCC, CCC, OHSU and linfield because I live in Portland Oregon. I know schools that I am applying to only look at your pre-req gpa but I am very afraid I might get rejected due to so many withdrawals. Do I still have chance?

Unfortunately, there is no standardization so you'll need to check with each program to determine their policy on handling withdrawals. Your recent (impressive) academic record should help improve your chances.

Best of luck on your educational journey.
