What would colleges think about a student who's taking allied health classes? Would it be a +? or would they rather see the student take a science class? How many years of foreign language would you really need to get into a 4 year nursing program for a college?What would be idol? IM currently still a highschool student and would also want to know answers.

Im not sure I understand your question. In my school Medical Microbiology is a allied health class, which is a co requisite for the nursing program. So is Anatomy and Physiology.

If youre interested in a particular school, tell them your situation, and the classes youre planning on taking. Find out if those classes will transfer over as college credits.

As far as a foreign language goes, youre talking to someone who took one semester of American Sign Language (i had a blast in that class) and satisfied the co requisite for communications in my CC

When I was in A&P 1 someone ask a very similar question of our professor who was also the head of the health profession committee.

She said that the programs did not like students to enter multiple programs. That if you wanted to be a radiology tech or respiratory therapist then you should be that, or if you want to be a nurse be a nurse, but just one. That they see someone who is jumping around to be a bad bet.
