University of Hawaii Manoa 2013 MEPN Program

Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

Just started the app for this school's program. Anyone else thinking of applying here? I'm pretty annoyed at how expensive the application is: $100 for the grad school and $65 for the NursingCAS application system! This will be one of my fallback schools in case I don't get into my favorites...but the surf life and the tropical breeze does sound very very appealing! Also, anyone know anything about this school's reputation?

Thanks!

Sam

No words yet either :( My video was also viewed last week. It's making me so anxious! I feel like eventhough they say they are not comparing our applications to others, they must be if it's taking this long...But on a possitive note I have my interview for the peace corps this Monday :) It is my plan B for next year. It's a 60min - 90 min interview...that sounds so intense! Honestly either way I'm really excited for next year! Although I do hope everyone gets into the MEPN program. Keep thinking possitive Michelle! It's getting close to the deadline so we must find out soon!

It explains everything.

Am I the only one excited that the due date is coming up?! I am just dying to find out if I got accepted or not and my application was done weeks ago but still no words :(

@samdaman Did you completed your application? also did NursingCAS pulled your grades down as well when they verified your stuff?

-Lalida

@lalida, not sure what you mean by pulling my grades down...but my application was completed and submitted successfully.

.....

Everyone can take a deep breath, I have heard that the only final decisions that have been made are rejections. If you haven't been rejected yet then you're still in the running.

@samndaman I know that for my roommate and I the GPA calculation that nursingCAS gave us after verifying our application was lower than our actual grades on our school transcript.

@Kangarhue Thanks for the news! Keep us updated if you hear anything else :)

If you had any repeats or dropped courses it does pull your final GPA down in NursingCAS. I'm happy to hear the news about the rejections but I'm nervous now I'll get a letter in the mail today saying I've been rejected. Oh the suspense is killing me already!! aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!

has anyone heard of rejection letters already?

Nope. I don't know of anyone else applying but you guys. Which was weird because last year there were so many people posting about it.
