Anyone applying to UIC's graduate entry program starting Jan. 2013? I've glanced at the threads from the past couple of year's and thought I'd start one for the next application cycle. I'm finishing up pre-reqs and taking the GRE in a month. Good luck to all who plan on applying!

Just received an email to interview for FNP! Anybody else receive one as well? I truly hope you all did!

ugh, I haven't heard anything yet. Were there a lot of people copied on your interview invitation?

I have not heard anything either! My email is open and I am waiting(albeit not very patiently!)

No you couldn't see who else was copied on the email.

I'm trying to see if I can see who the email was sent to, and I cannot. It was definitely a generalized email so perhaps they're sending them out in shifts? My fingers are crossed for you guys!

I haven't heard anything yet either...maybe they're going down alphabetically...or maybe I'll be getting a really small envelope in the mail this week. =C

Even though I still haven't heard about an interview...I can see why some of the other specialties found out sooner...because they have earlier interview dates. Has anyone else seen this?

I saw that today too. I tried emailing Julie Kim to see if she had any update on when we'd hear back about a final decision for interviews. I haven't heard from her yet :/

I did see that! I was also looking through the old forums, and people for the same specialty did not always hear at once about interviews (especially for FNP!) One person received an email to interview weeks after others had heard. (:

b2094041, if what you say is true then I guess there's still some hope left...but I've been kind of bummed all day and has been making me reflect on what things I can do to improve my package for the other schools I'm hoping to apply to (even though the other ones I'm applying to are even harder to get in...i.e. UCSF, Columbia, Yale...ok, maybe not Univ of Hawaii)

I still have a little hope left but this waiting is extremely distracting in my day to day life! I have also been looking at other programs but I need to stay in Chicago. It looks like Rush has a good program but I have not heard much about loyola or depauls program.
