Hi meimei,

what was your GPA when you applied?? How do you like the program so far? I applied to the program and getting very anxious to hear from them!

Hey Everyone--

I am also an applicant for the 2009 GMSN program @ SFSU. I've been frazzled about not hearing back yet if I've been accepted-- so I called yesterday and the woma told me two interesting things--

1) they will send out notification by May 1

2) she said that new graduate students won't start classes until the FALL!!! I am totally frustrated thinking that if I get in I'd be starting classes the first week of June-- but according to the person who answered the phone, this isn't the case. Has anyone else heard this news? I asked them why it isn't poste3d anywhere on the website because it's a really BIG deal to know if I'm quitting my job at the end of May or at the end of August!!

Anyone else willing to put in some phone calls to the SFSU nursing school to help see if this is true? Am I crazy to think that the classes were supposed to begin this summer?? Ah!

I applied for Fall, but got in for Spring 2010!! Because of budget cuts fall 09 public health and CNS are pushed back spring. I was initially denied admissions, but was first on their wait list and got a call today because a spot opened up!! When I got my denial letter, it didn't even say I was on the wait listed or anything just a straight denial letter. I already applied to other programs and lost all hope. SO hang in there wait list calls are being made:yeah:.
