Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

Specializes in Clinicals.

Most graduate programs require that you graduate from an accredited program. But...what type? The school that I plan to get my BSN from is accredited by the Michigan BON and the CCNE. Is this good enough for CRNA school? Or does it need to be NLNAC? Thanks in advance!

Specializes in Maternity, quality.

That will be fine. Both NLNAC and CCNE accredit nursing programs and are well-regarded.

Specializes in Med-Surg, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac.

I think that would be fine in many cases. USF here in Tampa specifically states NLN.

I would read the fine print of the schools your looking into. If they don't specify NLN, I would think CCNE would be good enough. Best to ask the individual schools though.
