Chamberlain Nurse Educator MSN Program???

I just spoke with a recruiter from Chamberlain College of Nursing about their Nurse Educator MSN online program. Has anyone had any experience or known anyone who has with this program? Any info, good or bad is appreciated! I did my BSN online and love it! I'm really considering this program. I would like to hear from someone that knows anything about it!

I graduated from Chamberlain's MSN-Educator program. My only complaint is the discussion board requirement. I know that it ensures class participation but I often felt they were a waste of my time. I'd rather spend that time in research, writing papers, or doing my practicum hours with a preceptor. I couldn't even enjoy a cruise because of those stupid discussion boards (truth be told, I would have done 's program had I known about it). I paid around $24,000 (with my employer discount) and it took me 2 years at Chamberlain. A colleague where I taught at the time did her's through WGU and it took her a little over a year and she spent around $8,000. Be wary of for-profit schools (Chamberlain is owned by DeVry). They tend to be more pricey (but in all honesty, my instructors were great).

Not for me. I was already teaching with my BSN and used one of my co-workers as my educator preceptor.

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules. My professor told me years ago to put degree-license-certifications. I always use my name, MSN, RN, CMSRN, CNE. I see other people use name, RN, MSN, etc.

Meagang, I wish I could speak to you about umass' dnp online program. I'm signed up to start in the fall 2017 and I have no idea what I'm getting into. Could you work full time while enrolled? Thanks, Chelsea
