Hi Everyone! This topic thread is for those applying to UPENN BSN/MSN program summer 2013. I hope we can create a support network here!

I will be applying to the nurse-midwifery and WHNP program and have begun writing my personal statement. Their application should be completely available July 15th but you should be able to create an account. Good luck everyone!

hmm I'm guessing we probably won't receive finaid or rwjf notifications today either? it seems like the office still has a lot of processing to do!

has anyone received any notifications about RWJ? I haven't so I guess I didn't get it since finaid is already out :(

hi, i've been lurking for a while but was also admitted to penn. i also applied to RWJ scholarship but haven't heard anything yet -- i know we were supposed to receive results a while ago, are they done with decisions for the scholarship? has anyone heard anything from them yet? i want to call and ask, but figured the finaid office must be overwhelmed now. do they reach out only if you are chosen for the scholarship? does anybody know?

I am a RWJ scholarship recipient and found out March 5th. It seems like some people have been emailed about their status (both those who got the scholarship and those who didn't), while others have not heard anything. I think it's a good idea to contact financial aid about your status if you haven't received word about it by now.

healeridealist, thanks for letting us know! did you also apply for the accelerated nursing scholarship?

Greeneggs, I did apply for the Accelerated Nursing Scholarship. Hopefully we'll find out about it tomorrow like they said we will! Even with the aid, Penn is so expensive...if I end up attending Penn, taking out private loans is unavoidable. Best of luck to everyone in finding a way to finance our educations!

I heard back from the accelerated nursing scholarship at 7:30 EST.

I heard back 6:30EST. Does anybody know what the average award amount is for the ANS? it really seems like they awarded many students!
