Hey everyone! I've been accepted for the winter term as well. After the acceptance email I received only a letter about financial aid in the mail. The email said student acceptance packets need to be completed by Nov 5th. Did anyone get this packet?

No, I called today and spoke to Julie. She said they were in the process of being mailed out, but the mail goes through the hospital that's why it takes a little longer.

Congrats on getting in ladies! I'm halfway through my first semester and love it. I'm exhausted because it's a lot of info initially, but I really enjoy it and truly feel it's a great program.

    Best of luck!

From what I've heard from upperclassmen N110 is harder than N111 because fundamentals covers so much information! When I initially looked up the schedule I wanted to work it out so that I wouldn't have a Penn State rotation, but now I'm kind of glad I will have one as it gives you a bit of mental break.

Congrats on getting in everyone!!! I am also in my first semester at Aria. I can vouch that this program is top-notch. The teachers truly care about you being successful and have been very supportive. I am so thankful I found this program and feel blessed to know it is one of the best nursing programs in Philly. At first I was nervous that it was (only) a diploma program but now I've come to realize it is one of the best BECAUSE it is a diploma program. I had no idea of Aria's plans to become a BSN program when I applied so that is a huge bonus. Of all nursing schools in the area, I truly feel like I picked the right one.

that is great to know! I too was nervous about the "diploma label" but now I'm just looking forward to starting! Now to fill out all this paper work & shell out all this money >_< lol but I've read of some of the previous years forums that everything they say is "required" isn't really. Like uniforms for example it says 3 required but I've read of people buying 2 and being fine. True?

Totally true. I bought 2 and have been OK so far. Clinicals are twice a week, so I wear it Thurs...toss it in the wash and wear my second pair on Friday. The though process behind it is that your supposed to keep a clean pair in your car in case you get a spill and need to change it. However, those uniforms are NOT cheap so two worked out great for me.
