Anyone a BC3 nursing student?

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

I just want to know what the workload is like? I have all of my prerequisites done, so I would only be taking the 8 credit nursing course each semester. However, I also have four children. In a nutshell, how time consuming is the program for a busy mother? How many hours do you spend each week studing and/or doing homework for the nursing courses alone?

Thanks,

Marci

Hi Marci,

I am just finishing up the BC3 nursing program, being pinned next Wednesday!

I've never commented on this board, I came on to look at people's opinions of a new Stethoscope because I can't hear very well with my Littman.....

and I saw the Pennsylvania region and saw your post

Please email me [email protected] - anytime.

The Bucks program is VERY hard. Make no mistake about it, but it is absolutely doable. Hundreds have gone before you and hundreds will come after you. I have 3 kids, but they are not babies. a few of my fellow students have 4. Like you I wish I knew more about the program before I entered or had someone to talk with about what to expect, so again, email me and we can be more specific.

congratulations on your acceptance into the program, I know it is very competitive. It has changed me and my life entirely for the better. I feel very well prepared to enter nursing, although I know I will always have plenty more to learn. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your post. I greatly appreciate it. I'm extremely nervous about entering the program. I'm confident that if I work hard, I'll someday be an RN.

Again, thank you.

Also, :ancong!: on your upcoming graduation and :wlcmggrp: to allnurses!
