Hi, I am a student nurse ( i am sure u could tell that by my user name) and we have to do the Denver II test on an infant, toddler, pre-schooler, school age and adolescent. does anyone know of a site i can go to for help on teaching the pt/parent about 1)nutrition for each age, and 2)safety, and 3)play activities?? for the older two age groups, we have to complete a developmental assessment c examples of behaviors observed and a brief analysis as compared to expected norms,and teaching lists as listed above.

we also have to have a list of activities to promote accomplishment of Erickson's developmental task. any and all help would be greatly appreciated, whether it be personal comments, websites, whatever.. thank you so much....

okay-- i think i figured that part out. now i just read that we have to devise a developmental assessment for the school age and adolescent child including expected norms for assessment categories. this extra stuff is a neverending story!! i have yet to start studying for my test that is jan. 29 because of this extra stuff we have to do.. i would greatly appreciate any help. and we arent supposed to do any kind of actual physical assessment on the kids..some kind of developmental assessment but i dont know where to begin.. thanx in advance!
