I am having the hardest time finding a job as a PCT in Southern NJ. I successfully completed the PCT program in the spring and obtained all of my certificates. Every job I apply for has required experience and the only experience I have is through clinicals. My school, Harris School of Business, is no help at all even though they have a career services department. I have asked for help numerous times and they simply say keep trying. I need some advice on how to get a job and I wanted to know if I could work as a CNA or a LPN with my current certificates. I went back to school and graduated with high hopes of doing what I love and now I feel like I put myself deeper in debt and I will not be given a chance. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried looking at jobs closer to central NJ? Not sure how much of a travel that would be for you. Most openings just state that experience is "preferred" for CNAs or PCAs. Not sure about PCTs as most of the hospitals near me only use them in the ER so they want them to have more experience.

You cannot work as a CNA unless certified as such but you can apply for a nursing assistant position in a hospital or clinic, LTC nursing assistants MUST be certified as a CNA (whether geriatric long term care or pediatric long term care). Some hospitals use NA's, others use PCA's, others use PCT's it's a matter of semantics and job description. Did you do any practical roations in PCT school? If so, what kind of facilities and did you make a positive impression? then apply to those facilities and mention that you were there as a student PCT during MM/YY to MM/YY. Some nursing homes /LTC will pay for your CNA certification in exchange for a job.
What certifications do you have? Are they nationally recognized (I know some PCT programs give you certificates that say "Haz Mat" but they aren't actual recognized credentials)
You are not qualified to work as an LPN unless a. you graduated from a school of practical nursing, b. passed the NCLEX-PN, and c. are licensed by NJ BoN as an LPN.
